After Hours Medical Service
We are pleased to announce that our practice has partnered with Get Better and WADMS as our deputised after-hours medical services. This means that if you require medical assistance when our clinic is closed, a doctor can visit you at home, depending on the service available in your area.

 

After-Hours Availability

Get Better (Fully Bulk Billed)

Get Better is an after-hours service that operates under Medicare guidelines and is available during the following times:

  • Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Saturday: From 12:00 PM
  • Sunday & Public Holidays: 24 hours

With a valid Medicare or DVA card, there is no out-of-pocket expense, as Get Better is a fully bulk-billed service. If you do not have a Medicare card or are visiting from overseas, a $200 fee will apply.

WADMS (Mixed Billing)
WADMS provides both in-hours and after-hours home visits.

 

  • After-Hours Availability:
  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Saturday – Monday: From 12:00 PM Saturday to 8:00 AM Monday

WADMS offers mixed billing, meaning pensioners, DVA Gold Card holders, children under 16, and Health Care Card holders may be eligible for bulk billing. Please confirm applicable fees with their call centre.

Important Information

  • Both services aim to provide a doctor within 3 hours of your call, where possible.
  • They are not equipped for medical emergencies. If you require urgent care, call 000 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.
  • After your consultation, a record of your visit, including prescribed medications, will be sent to our practice to ensure continuity of care with your GP.
